Whether you choose to ride directly from our property or trailer out to one of the many nearby trailheads, you'll find endless opportunities to explore and enjoy the beauty of the area. Discover miles of scenic trails winding through the breathtaking Ocala National Forest, where nature comes alive with towering pines, abundant wildlife, and stunning natural landscapes. From peaceful rides through shaded forests to adventures on local trail systems, there's something for every rider to experience. Come enjoy nature at its finest and create unforgettable memories on the trail. Local trail maps, riding information, and points of interest can be found in the office. 

Lake Dorr

Jump on your horse and enjoy a scenic trail ride to beautiful Lake Dorr, where you and your horse can cool off together in the refreshing water. It's the perfect way to experience the natural beauty of the Ocala National Forest while creating unforgettable memories on horseback.

OCALA NATIONAL FOREST

Mount up and ride down Demko Road to the trailhead of the Ocala National Forest, where more than 100 miles of scenic horse trails await. Explore popular destinations like the Sand Canyon or venture onto peaceful wooded trails with friends while enjoying the beauty of Florida's natural landscape. Whether you prefer riding on your own or joining fellow equestrians through a local riding club, there's an adventure waiting around every bend.

Already explored the trails from the property? Load up your horse and discover even more riding opportunities by trailering out to one of the many nearby trailheads. Each offers its own unique scenery, terrain, and adventures waiting to be explored.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • All full hookup sites have a separate utilities surcharge - 30Amp $85 or 50Amp $125

  • Electric vehicles are welcome with an additional utility fee depending on vehicle

  • We accept all major credit cards with an imposed 3% surcharge per transaction​

  • Check In Time = 3pm / Check Out Time = 11am . If you need alternate arrangements, please call the office to be sure of availability.​

  • Quiet Time = 10pm - 9am ***Strictly Enforced***​

  • Camping is at your own risk. FGR is not responsible for liability to persons, horses, pets or personal property while on the Ranch.​

  • Pets are permitted in Villa's and Park Model with non-refundable pet deposit of $25 per pet.​

  • Dogs on property should be kept on leash at all times except in dog park.​

  • We kindly ask that you clean after up after ALL dogs / horses on property. A $50 per stall / per paddock cleanup fee will be added to those who leave manure behind. ​

  • Golf carts are welcome in park (no minors behind the wheel). ATV must remain on trailer within our campground. OHV in use must abide by FGRR rules distributed in welcome packet - Please see office for maps of Ocala North ATV/OHV Trail System.

PLEASE NOTE OUR CANCELLATION POLICY:

 A one night fee will be held for all daily reservations.

A one week fee will be held for all weekly reservations.

A one month fee will be held for all monthly/long term reservations.
